Speakers:

Ronen Schwartzman, CIO / Cooper Family Office
- Ronen started his career as an equity analyst with Oppenheimer, where he covered small cap technology stocks. After receiving his MBA from the Wharton School – University of Pennsylvania, Ronen joined Bear Stearns, where he managed equity and fixed income portfolios for individuals and corporations, and also advised institutional investors on various capital markets investments.
- Ronen specialized in investing in alternative assets such as hedge funds, private credit, private equity, and real estate.
- A former Special Operations Intelligence Officer in the Israeli Air Force, Ronen is fluent in Spanish and Hebrew.
- Ronen is often quoted in The Economist, Reuters, and Bloomberg News. A guest lecturer at The Wharton School and NYU Stern School of Business and a frequent speaker at industry conferences, Ronen is a noted thought leader in the hedge fund and family office communities

Richard Owens, Principal / Kinetic Investments
- Richard is the founder of Kinetic Investments, his family’s private investment company, through which he selectively allocates capital alongside third-party sponsors and managers across alternative asset classes. This dual perspective, as both a principal investor and investment manager, informs his approach to evaluating opportunities across public and private markets.
- Richard Owens has more than 25 years of experience in quantitative investing, portfolio management, risk management, and financial derivatives. After building proprietary trading businesses from the ground up at Credit Suisse Financial Products and RBC Capital Markets, he currently serves as Chief Investment Officer of Kinetic Capital Advisors LLC, where he leads the firm’s investment strategy, portfolio construction, and risk oversight, with a focus on options arbitrage, volatility trading, special situations, and quantitative risk management.
- Richard holds a B.S. in Engineering and an MBA in Finance from Cornell University.

Larry McKay, CIO / Zynergy
- Larry McKay is the Chief Investment Officer at Zynergy, where he leads the firm’s investment strategy across public and private technology investments. Larry brings more than 20 years of institutional investment experience, he directly managed $1.4B in global public equities at Bank of America / US Trust.
- Prior to Zynergy, he also advised global organizations on technology transformation at Ernst & Young, Capgemini, and Accenture.
- Today, Larry leads Zynergy’s Digital Innovation & AI Fund, focusing on identifying overlooked opportunities across AI, digital infrastructure, robotics, and other transformative technologies. He holds an MBA from MIT Sloan, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA), and serves as a FINRA Arbitrator.
